Toata lumea se crede creativa, inspirata si plina de idei. E un lucru bun, pana la urma. Ar fi insa si mai bine daca ne-am concentra pe a pune in practica ideile pe care le avem in loc sa vorbim permanent despre ele. Pentru ca daca ne limitam la a vorbi despre ele ajungem sa vorbim peste putin timp despre cum le-au facut altii. Mai bine, mai prost, le-a mers, nu le-a mers, dar le-au facut si au avut succes sau au mers mai departe, sa faca altele.

Conversatia e utila, indispensabila uneori, insa nu inlocuieste actiunea. Daca vrei sa arati ca poti face ceva, fa mai intai si apoi vorbeste despre asta.

Dincolo de marele concurs sau joc al vietii, in care fiecare din noi isi foloseste resursele pentru a construi ceea ce stie mai bine, cum stie mai bine, mai apar din cand in cand ocazii care nu trebuie ratate, si vreau sa va prezint pe cea mai recenta pe care am descoperit-o.

Uniunea Europeana da niste sute de mii de euro pentru proiecte web care sa foloseasca platforma “Future Internet Core Platform”, pe scurt, fi-ware.eu, in cadrul unui concurs care tocmai a inceput ieri.

Sunt doua teme mari: Smart Cities si Smart Business, pe care puteti visa, crea, proiecta si materializa orice idee indrazneata. Sunt niste zeci de premii pentru finalisti, apoi premii mari in zeci de mii de euro pentru castigatori.

We invite you to send your ideas for the two first challenges: Smart Cities and Smart Business/Industry, awarded with 200.000€ each. You have until December 20th to send it.

In the Smart Cities challenge, you have to develop an idea that can revolutionize the concept of smart city. In the Smart Business challenge, the goal is helping SMEs to make their business more efficient or add some value to their services. Your idea must use FI-WARE platform for its implementation.

If you are one of the 20 best, you will be chosen for the final phase that will take place in Campus Party Brazil and you will be, also, awarded with 2.800 €. To get the prize, two member of the developing team have to attend Campus Party Brazil 2014 (#CPBR7) that will take place from January 27th to February 2nd, to present a prototype.
For the final phase of each challenge, the qualified teams will have to present a prototype of their idea to a specialized jury at CPBR7. The jury will award each challenge with:

● First Prize: 75.000 €
● Second Prize: 40.000 €
● Third Prize: 20.000 €
● Special Mention Young Developer: 5.000 €
● Special Mention Most Innovative App: 5.000 €

Smart Cities - detalii aici 

This is a challenge to build applications within the smart city concept. These applications must represent an important step towards a more efficient management of city services or to the provision of innovative services that a city can provide to their citizens. We are looking for great ideas that involve, for example:

- Improve traffic in cities using FI-WARE
- Improve the management of services, using technology to save costs and improve the quality of service provided to people
- Provide an innovative service that its inhabitants would like to use
- Any other utility for making cities more livable: a better place to live, to study, to work, to have fun …

There are 201,000€ in prizes, of which: 56.000 € will be for the shortlisted ideas in the first phase of the challenge (“call for ideas’) and € 145,000 for the winners of the second phase, divided into:

• First Prize: 75.000 €
• Second Prize: 40.000 €
• Third Prize: 20.000 €
• Special Mention Young Developer / a: 5.000 €
• Special Mention: Application with the greatest potential: 5,000 €

Asadar, daca ai o idee buna si vrei bani pe ea, anul viitor ai putea avea 200.000 de euro. Cu care poti face multe in perioada asta.
